The magnificent 90 Mile Beach is a stretch of golden sand that separates the Gippsland Lakes from Bass Straight. It runs from Port Albert through to Lakes Entrance and is the third largest uninterrupted beach in the world! Whether you’re into fishing, swimming, or sunbaking it’s definitely worth a day at the beach.

The Gippsland Lakes consist of 450sq km of pristine waterways, rivers, streams and Lakes. What better way to see the region where you can relax in comfort, enjoy lunch and the scenery!
Spend a day on your bike and enjoy the Gippsland Lakes Discovery Trail. This scenic and enjoyable ride follows the old tramway along the Mississippi Creek, with plenty of wildlife to be seen along the way. The Discovery Trail is well maintained and clearly signposted for riders and certainly worth the effort.
Tucked away on the North Arm of the Gippsland Lakes at Lakes Entrance, Wyanga Park is Gippsland’s oldest, family run winery which is easily accessible by vehicle or boat. Sample a fantastic range of local wines and enjoy a delicious lunch at Henry’s Cafe. Make it a day trip and enjoy the Wyanga Park Winery Cruise.
The Buchan Caves situated near the township of Buchan are an absolute must see! The caves were formed by underground rivers cutting through limestone rock, and are full of spectacular limestone formations. Visitors can take part in the guided tours of the caves which are conducted daily.
If you’re trying to think of a great way to keep the kids (and adults) entertained why not head to one of the Mini Golf courses in Lakes Entrance. It makes for a great day out and provides heaps of fun for the whole family. For the more serious golfers you’ll also find a fantastic course in Lakes Entrance too!
